Every day for several weeks, I’ve been getting emails pushing monthly membership sites where one guru or the other is going to let you have all their secrets on how to make money on the internet. I understand those gurus are making tons of money on the internet and I really do have nothing but admiration for their accomplishments, but come on… They aren’t going to give you any secrets. At least not until they’ve used them to make as much money as they can.

F.Y.I. - Just in case you haven’t noticed - membership sites are one of the ways the gurus are making money and even having you pay them to promote other products to you. ;)

Don’t get down in the dumps though. There may not be any big miraculous secrets but there are many solid time tested techniques for making money on the internet that can make a huge difference in your success. And the gurus really are sharing those techniques with you in those membership sites.

The trouble is that they are very profitably spreading the information out over months while you pay them $27, $37, $47 or even $97 per month or more!

The crazy thing is that the biggest benefit of those membership sites is the other people you meet and network with there. Those people you meet and their experiences and opinions are some of the best resources for marketing research and help available on the internet. Networking is another one of the guru secrets that can pay off big over time.

What you need to do is find a way to learn the most useful marketing techniques before you get involved with paying all those monthly fees. If you do that you are going to make massive progress once you find the right group to network with. You won’t be irritating them with all the basic questions, but instead will be able to really release your creativity to come up with the next new innovative way to help people reach their goals while you make a profit doing it.

    I was able to learn so much from it.
