I have found that the key factor which stops most people from succeeding in internet marketing is lack of focus. There are just far too many opportunities available on the internet to make money. So everyone starting out moves from project to project. Nothing gets finished and no money made.
The problem is that so many really ideas are blasting around inside your head that it becomes absolutely impossible to keep them organized. We start off on a tangent without thinking things through and with no specific goal in mind and we end up exactly where we planned. There’s nothing wrong with having new ideas. The key is to get some organization attached to them so you can actually follow through and accomplish something.
There are a couple of free tools which can begin to help focus this confusion into something positive. The first is well known online course by Mark Joyner called “Simple-ology” which you can find at http://www.simpleology.com. I’ll just quote right from the website to let you know what it is all about.
Within minutes of setting up your account, you will:
• See your day with instant clarity
• Focus instantly on what´s important
• Dump the rest (liberation is a click away)
• Clear your brain of clutter and distraction
As you can see, it is something every aspiring internet marketer in every niche needs…and it’s free.
The second tool everyone should take a look at is some free software that is available at http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Download
If you don’t know what mindmapping is, you can check it out here on Wikipedia. It’s basically a way of helping bring some organization to all those random ideas running through your head so you can get them on paper and actually plan a project to focus on.
If you would like a ready made project to focus on, there is very little more important to an internet marketer than building a good mailing list. Here are 21 Free Tips to help you with that.
Best wishes until next time.
